CMM will Leap Test beginning Wednesday, April 24th. Testing will continue through April 30th. Students will report directly to their testing sites at 8:00AM each morning. It is extremely important that all students are on time. Testing will last until 12:30 or 1:00 each day. Students do not need to bring backpacks, notebooks, blankets, or pillows the week of testing.
No electronic devices will be allowed in the testing sites. Please leave all watches, earbuds, headphones, and gaming devices at home. Cell Phones will be collected prior to testing each day and placed in a storage bin. They will be returned to students once testing is complete each day—those can really be left at home too.
Students may bring a snack to their testing sites each day. These should just be small snacks—not a full meal. We will go to lunch. Please make sure all drinks have a screw-top lid. No Cheetos, sunflower seeds, carbonated drinks, or energy drinks.
There will be no check-outs during the actual testing times. Check-outs after testing are strongly discouraged because students will be involved in activities in each class. In the rare case of a check-out, please make sure your child returns the following day with a medical excuse.

Wednesday the 7th grade Intermediate band went to Airline High School for Louisiana Large Ensemble Festival. They received a Sweepstakes award, which is the highest rating possible for the event. This group also had a student conductor, Kylee Ducote, who was awarded a superior rating and a medal for her conducting. Congratulations to these outstanding musicians!
